Lucy is qualified to RHS Level 2 in the Principles of Horticulture with further studies in OCN Garden Design and Permaculture Design in subsequent years.

She is interested in finding the balance between edibles and ornamental plants in the garden (as there’s always room for both), loves helping people to rethink and design their garden (so they can truly enjoy and nurture the space), and her passion is encouraging children (and adults actually) to start gardening – including growing their own; herbs, fruit, vegetables, nuts, and fungi. Not many things make her happier than turning a compost heap, growing a satisfying amount of home produce each year, watching small hands shove a load of home-grown blueberries into their mouths…..although watching a blackbird eating some winter berries, or seeing a wonderful border of mixed grasses catch the glorious late evening sun comes quite close.
