Robert Hughes is passionate about environmental causes, born in the seaside city of Brighton, Robert has always been drawn to the ocean and the countryside alike.

He is constantly inspired by his vision of a greener and wilder future. He recognises that as a race we have created separation from nature and believes that reconnection to the natural world can be achieved through enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer, he finds the easiest place to start with this is in the garden.

His passions are gardening and garden design, sailing, cycling, walking, and discovering natural unspoiled places.
